Sunflowers get a lot of love for their beauty, but - like so many of us - the lessons they share with their admirers go so far beyond being a joy to behold.

Sunrises and sunsets. Peaks and valleys. Ebbs and flows.

The silver lining (for this introverted heart) of starting yet another new year in a pandemic is the gift of time and space to sit with myself, my thoughts, and my heart.

If Christmas feels like both joy and sadness, both a blessing and a burden, both a gift and an obligation, I see you.
